Alex Kruse
Founder & CEO - East LA County & Surrounding Areas
Alex has been in the field of animal care since she was a child. Aside from caring for a practical zoo of her own animals, she was riding and taking care of horses at 8 years old, volunteered at the Virginia aquarium at 14, was part of the 4H Vet Club, and even worked as a volunteer zoo keeper for a few years. At 19 she moved up to WA where she became a kennel attendant at a dog daycare and boarding facility. In her 12 years there, she worked her way up to manager of the facility, lead dog trainer, Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and even did a turn in the grooming department. She also started working private jobs as a pet sitter and dog walker, and volunteered her time to train dogs at the local animal shelter. Upon moving to Los Angeles she served as a startup consultant to one of LA's newest dog daycare facilities, then worked as reception for a few years in another facility before branching out to other careers. She quickly realized anything other than animal care wasn't for her, and returned to care services and training with a few other companies. Now she has a company of her own where she can provide care and training to clients without having big corp hanging over her head, making her clients, animals, and fellow animal care professionals happier overall!

Zara Lisbon
Pet Trainer/Sitter - West LA County

Since the age of ten, Zara's had a passion for working with dogs. In 2018, a training mentorship set her on a path to attend Animal Behavior College and begin her own training practice in 2024. Beginning with a foundation of basic obedience and trouble-shooting problem behaviors such as excessive barking, jumping, nipping, and inappropriate chewing, Zara strives to know each dog intimately in order to discern their individual needs. After all, what works for one dog might not work for another. Canine mental and emotional well-being is of paramount importance throughout every aspect of Zara’s work. When both a dog's mental and physical health needs are met, the good behavior every dog parent desires naturally follows. In the wake of the Covid 19 pandemic, more dogs are experiencing anxiety than ever before, making life harder for them and their families. Zara's here to help your dog overcome what’s troubling them, to help them live the healthy, happy, harmonious lives they deserve.
